Functional Consultants
Functional Analysts/Consultants - Minimum 15 years Infor Experience
GlobalStar Functional Analysts work on the reviews, analysis, specification development, and testing. Our functional consultants are well-versed/certified in 1 or more of the key product suites (Human Capital Management (HCM), Supply Chain Management (SCM) or Financials Management (FMS).
Duties:
- Provides functional and analytical skills to help Client personnel define scope of business needs, translating processes into detailed functional requirements and/or Infor/Lawson design specifications
- Leads the Client through business process re-engineering by giving attention to present and proposed operations, providing transition support, and defining gap resolution
- Provides analytical abilities, with working knowledge of relational database structures
- Provides custom training materials and education
Functional Consultants have attended and passed Infor Lawson certification programs, in addition to passing GlobalStar University "GSU" courses that were developed to intensely prepare new software consultants for full project life-cycle tasks, like: 15 Commandments of Consulting; Setting Realistic Expectation Management; Gaining User Community Buy-in; Identifying Team Characteristics; Allocating Resources (with and without Backfill); Defining Deliverables; Successfully Incorporating MS-Project; database and file structures; and more! These GSU courses included a solid base of classroom curriculum infused with lots of hands-on experience, intranet-based training exercises, CBTs, mentoring, and self-study.
